striding through life’s long journey
youthful confidence
casts trepidation aside
to reach the ultimate goal

he seizes the day
glorying in his triumph
all demons vanquished

  23. My word, Chris! 😳 My demons wouldn’t be vanquished if I were to stand like that all the way up there! I sometimes have issues standing on the normal level ground!

  24. After reading Liz’s comment about photoshopping I had to go back and look at the photo more carefully. As a Photoshop expert (🤣🤣) I can see how it could possibly be. Because if not, then where was the photographer standing?🤔 surely somewhere as dangerous as the subject was.

    • Thanks, Jude 🙂 I’ve been trying my hand at more syllabic poetry, guided by Colleen Chesbro’s ‘Wordcraft: Prose and Poetry’ book which I’m working my way through. How happy was I to find some of your work – like unexpectedly bumping into a friend! Your piece entitled ‘Fantasy’ made me smile with your reference to JKR 😉
