  1. So this is a true story?! Of course, being from a medical family, my mind goes to a thousand (not good) reasons for an incident like that.

    I do love your dishy-wishy.

    • Very occasionally, I write something true – like this was – and it was me. But I will always find something funny to make this better (I hope). And yes, we need to keep the dishy-wishy!

  2. Yes, you are here now! I have heard and almost felt this condition, though not on my own yet, but from some people I knew them. It is just like a strike in one’s fate. I am so happy to see you among us, dear Christ.🤗💖🌹🌟

  3. Some of us fretted through those times, Chris, without knowing just how difficult things were for you.

Your recovery gives us great joy, and speaks volumes for your courage and fortitude.

  4. We oft loose sight of things we take for granted. Hubby has some hearing issues. Not that he needs aides. Tininius – blocks out some other things. But he manages 🙂

    Stay healthy and joyful! (((Hugs)))

  5. What a traumatic and unnerving experience. The confusion comes through very strongly in the story, lightened by the lovely humour in ‘dishy’wishy’ and your little asides – ‘oops’ and ‘hey-ho’.
