loving the beach live
the people are all beautiful
no worries around here
the sea is azure
and that beach, sand, sand and sand
more than idyllic
I can hear a man
who is playing a zither
but it’s just a dream
ah well

I once lived close enough to the beach to jog down to it. It was near Monterey, California. I remember walking on the beach on Christmas Day and it being warm! Of course here in Fresno you don’t get that luxury. Is a zither the same as a sitar? 🤔

Ah yes, Christmas Day – very warm where we stay now and very, very busy. In fact, from the middle of December to the middle of January the beaches are chock-a-block the hold time! Perfect now though…🍧
Oh, and I had a little look about the zither and the sitar. Both are similar but not the same. The zither lies down but the sitar stands up (very basically).

I’m dreaming of the beach too. Funny how that is – on vacation I was longing to be home (granted after 8 days with 6 more to go) and now I’m thinking that going to a warmer climate would be lovely! Love the poem!!
