She stood reverently,
bowing her head,
hoping to find herself,
there was no-one around,
and that was what she wanted.
She began to walk,
trying to stay focused,
but what was the point?
But then she knew,
she must do this,
that beautiful
nunnery.

A very beautiful poem for this image Chris. Thanks for joining in dear friend.

Such a beautiful photo, Sadje! So many avenues to play with this one, and also I had a look on Google. Fascinating!

I think this must be a very peaceful and focused life.
Which oddly reminds me … there’s a condition called “Nun’s Knees” aka prepatellar bursitis — and the kneecap swells from repetitive kneeling. Occupational hazard.
