Coming Back (slowly)

Well, it’s been a strange time starting on the 19th June 2022. When, out of the blue, a haemorrhage stroke landed at my door. The next I knew, my brain has scrambled. Not great.

It’s taken many months, but I am on the mend.

However, now physically I’m brilliant. I am stronger and fitter (and beautifully thinner too). I am still improving my reading, writing and speaking, but still more time is required. It is so strange but it will be all right again.

Thank you very much, my friends from WordPress – so many who giving me support. Most of all, Cliff, my wonderful man, keeping me safe and sound. He is my soulmate.

And now you’ve seen me around and eventually I’ll be back properly.

You are indeed at the final stage of your rehabilitation.
And , correct me if I am wrong, I believe that since you got lemons at your front door, you will make lemonade out of them!😉

  6. Brilliant to read this, Chris, and your presence has definitely been missed about these parts. Good on you and Cliff, the pair of you stay tough and positive, ay?
I tried to like some of the other comments (as they are all thoroughly likeable) but as always WP is being a pain, no changes there.
    BIG hugs, Chris! 😎😀😊

  10. Hi Chris, I am very happy to see you well enough to post. My husband had a mild stroke on 4 January caused by a virus that became encephalitis (inflammation of the brain) which caused a blood clot on the brain. We also went through a tough time as he had a seizure and was in ICU for 2 weeks and in hospital for longer. He is also recovering well and it has been quicker due to our good luck at him having the stroke and seizure in the doctor’s rooms. I think of you often and must read your latest novel. It has been a bit crazy for the past six months for me but hopefully some more peaceful time ahead.
