  1. Cool one, Chris! I enjoy a bit of mystery and intrigue and who couldn’t use an excellent friend? They are a rare commodity these days, of that I am most sure. At least said friend is a fast driver and can get the the red-head writer out of there quickly and to safety …. let’s hope!

    Very engaging write!

  2. I love how, in this blogosphere, we can read stories that not only invite us into fictional worlds, but (in the right hands) the stories hint at a common reality, a presence in a world with bridges to each other’s realities.

    ‘cellent Six

  3. I’m behind on my blog reading! I’m wondering, does she know this friend or is this the first time they’ve met? If it is, are you sure they are a friend and not foe?🤔 The plot thickens…

  4. Mysterious friend… I vote for a very strong independant older gal who know just what she’s doing. We’ve a comic here where the Woman’s alter ego loves hot spicy food and rides a motorcycle! 😉
