  1. The “see you later” made it clear that the gargoyles knew she was there. I am glad the chasm shut itself up. That would have been a mess to clean. I get an ominous feeling about hearing that she put the ring on her finger.

    (interesting settings, usually-forbidden beings offering a positive relationship and a welcome for new adventures)

    In grad school I lived in a 3rd floor tenement apartment. One advantage to the old-fashioned semi-curved staircase, as long as I leaned on the left-hand wall, I always made it home)

      And yes, I also lived in my first year in the Varsity place in an old and tall building on the 3rd floor. I remember there was 62 stairs, coming down was much easier than going up – even then!
