Water, Beautiful Water
shall we go?
we have wooden boats
five of us
we will row
gently but swiftly
here we go;
it’s so clear
and mountains stare up
air breathes deep
it’s lovely
row, row, row again
wonderful
~ such a shame we only have an hour ~

For the visually challenged reader, this is an image of 5 wooden, empty row boats in a body of water. The water is reflecting the mountains and trees along its coast.
Written in response to Sadje‘s What Do You See #261 photo prompt.

A bit of suspense and intrigue in that last sentence Chris. A lovely write, peaceful and calm. Thanks for joining in.

Exactly! Great fun, and an hour is usually enough (as I remember).😉

I’m sure we could enjoy pottering around on that lovely lake – sounds a bit like Lake Michigan don’t you think? Thanks, Darnell😊

Wow! Great picture and poem! My first thought about having only one hour was: if you row for an hour, it will take you another hour to get back. So better only row for a half hour! LOL (Possibly a result of being raised by Swedes!) 😂

Tee-hee. Those Sweden people would know all about boating things I’m sure.😊

Hi Chris, this is beautiful. Well done. PS did you see the email from Colleen?

Glad that you liked that little poem – and thanks, Robbie.
And yes, I had the email from Colleen about AI – and the one about AI on WP with Colleen yesterday – just read it earlier today. I am trying to get the hang of this for the future.

We are just being very careful. I had some issues with Amazon with my most recent book and im trying to avoid any further complications. Amazon’s unhelpful response was to block the book despite there being no unorthodox AI usage in it. I know Teagan has also had issues recently. It is just a case of rewording the one line. Hugs

Sure, I realise this can have lots of niggles now, but there we are. I’m very happy that my one line is fine now, and in fact I’m more pleased with my second attempt – so thank you both. 🤗🤗

I’m so pleased to know that, Chris. We are living in a very strange world and it looks set to get even stranger going forward.

Wonderful poem Chris, I review poetry past and present on my own page.
I hope you don’t mind, but I did that for this poem. I’ve shared the link below. If you have any issues, I’ll immediately take it down.
Congrats, on your success to date, and I’m looking forward to seeing more great work from you.
