oh my moon

Picture # 1 shows:
Total lunar eclipse 3/14/25, showcasing the captivating reddish glow of a blood moon against the dark night sky. Just a bit of white at the top! The stars dot the black background on a very clear night!

  1. It is unfortunate that the red – is just atmospheric. And that lovely luna is indeed moving just a tad further away from terra ferma. So lovely to see her full…Maybe the red was just deep blushing pink?

“April’s full moon is called the Pink Moon. This name comes from the pink wildflowers that often bloom in early spring, particularly the creeping phlox. Other names for this full moon include the Breaking Ice Moon, Budding Moon, Awakening Moon, Egg Moon, and Paschal Moon.”
