it’s pristine
the beach is so beautiful
waves are dancing around
there’s so many shells
picking up some
to take home

It’s a Seox – lovely!

We’ve collected a lot of shells from the beach and I bought a large domed vase to put them in.

That sounds lovely, Di. In fact, I have also a similar large vase… it was from Ikea in Warrington!

I do love finding and collecting beautiful shells- the problem is, I never know what to do with them after they have been collected!

We have shells inside and outside… on shelves, tables, pot plants and other things!

Reminds me of the seashells I collected on Omaha, Utah, and Gold beaches at Normandy.

Oh yes, interesting the names for the landings in Normandy. I have been there… chilly, I remember that.

I never can resist taking a pretty sea shell from the beach home.

A beautiful poem; it evokes the scent of the sea. Although, to be honest, I used to be quite greedy about collecting shells, but I ceased doing so long ago! 😜😅💖🌹

This is lovely, Chris. I used to collect shells while walking the beach when I lived in Florida. I think they carry secrets.

I’ve stopped collecting shells and now concentrate on different coral that the oceans gift. I found a couple of booklets that ID shells… so that makes me happy too!
I also have jars of ‘beach glass’ 🙂
