He smiles and jokes and explains tall tales. He’s in his element.
From morning to evening, and even later, he’s busy.
Many people look up, staring and taking photos.
He’s a real live wire.
Sometimes there will be a pigeon on his head, but he doesn’t mind.
But we can’t hear him.
Not a word.
But he continues and he seems to be happy.
And if it’s really dark, and no one’s around, he’ll drop down.
There’s a park bench and it’s a great place to sleep.
But he’s back in his usual place before anyone else is around.

As you might guess, I had to do a Google image search to figure out where this statue was. Who knew it was Salvador Dali in France? I like your idea of him coming to life at night and sleeping in the park!

I’m so impressed that you found the name for Salvador Dali. Great man, and very strange and wonderful too. I didn’t realise it was him on that photo. So it was a new fact for me! Looking now I have got it now, and what he did is almost true! (I am laughing now).😊

This is fun, Chris. I like the idea of the statue coming alive at night. My niece always believed that my doll collection came alive at night and danced in my lounge.

Not all sculptors or artists, but many. They portrayed spirituality through all sorts of symbolism. Felt to this day
