Inside and Outside
Pitter patter raindrops,
as I’m looking outside,
while that pretty bench
continued to drip, drip.
I’m tempted to go out,
since it was not cold,
in fact, it was rather warm,
so why not do so?
I grabbed my umbrella,
and then ran outside,
I danced across that pretty bench
and what fun I had.

This image shows the view of a white wooden bench through a fog stained window. There are trees and green grass behind the bench. There is evidence of rain!

I love rainy days, brilliant words dance across your page here

A beautiful take Chris! I can imagine how much fun the writer must’ve had dancing in the rain. Thanks for joining in.

As you say – why not? I may do it myself if it eventually decides to rain, though I’m not sure what my neighbours will make of it!

I can imagine that you might do that!😉

With so little rain hereabouts, I appreciate those drops of water so much, Chris, … so much so I’ll be dancing with you, … under the umbrella of course, …☔️

Ah yes, always have an umbrella, but maybe now a parasol is more appropriate! 🏖️

We sure could use some pitter patter raindrops! We’re in a drought. Of course I’ll watch Gene Kelly dance, although I do wonder if it’s hard to tap dance on a wet surface.

Hmm, pretty easy to fall on a wet place – like in the bathroom for example! Oops, that could be me…

That WAS me, last November when I slipped on the wet sidewalk and landed flat on my right hip!😬 Fortunately there were no fractures, but it sure did hurt! And I wasn’t even dancing! 😂

Oh yes, I remember that. Thank goodness you didn’t have a fracture, but still very, very sore. We know we have to be careful. No more dancing for us!😉

Yes well, for me I would rather not enjoy the rain here at the moment. Yep, it is raining and windy just now… again.😉

Ah, we are having nice weather in Joburg. I hope we don’t get your wind and rain.
