hearts are broken
that’s life
some will mend
and some won’t
is there a judgement?
wrong or right
or is it just luck?
blind sight
that’s all there is
just the seasons
winter or spring
that’s just life
and how long
you might live.

This image is titled “broken heart graffiti.” It shows a sad face painted in blue, with red hearts for eyes, and a heart that is outlined in white and appears to be broken, painted in red with a blue zigzag line in the middle, on a white wall.
Written in response to Sadje‘s What Do You See #306 photo prompt.

shot just so
you may never know

This poem is truly thoughtful, featuring meaningful questions that prompt reflection. It also recalls a song I greatly enjoyed listening to when I was young.

I’ve just scrolled down and seen the BeeGees video, Chris, so I’m singing it out loud, ( 🎶. trying to, I mean, it’s a bit high falsetto for my voice, .😉.🎶) Broken Hearts, …always a tragedy, Chris, and you’ve described the fallout so well,…💙

Thank you for your concern. Dear Rene, don’t think I have anything to worry about, as far as I know now. Just something I wrote while I was looking at that photo. 🙏💛😊

With all that’s happened in the United States the past couple of weeks, my friend, I feel this deeply. xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I can understand that. Not just USA but many different places around the world. I try not to watch much news. Too sad. 💞

Yes, it’s a good idea. I don’t use Instagram much. There is only so much time in a day.

I had a few beaus, before my one and only true love. We have to believe that there is someone for everyone (and not judge the different pairs that are not like what we might have).
