my dancing days
were delightful
I’d shimmy and shake
boogie down
and dance the night away
there was hip hop
salsa, samba and rumba
what a wonderful time it was
my dancing days are over
but I reminisce often
you see I was
that dancing queen
back then

Chris you took me on a nostalgic trip to the disco!! The late 70s really did belong to the dancing queens!

It is great to hear that you were the Dancing Queen. It was a fun poem. My daughter loves Abba even though they were popular decades ago.

It’s great to have these memories, Chris. My years of dancing for hours in very high heels have done little for my current back 😉

Aww, shame! No high heels anymore then… me neither.😂
