A railway, a railway!
The two boys smiled happily.
How fun it is
to ride on a train,
and they could take
their bikes with them.
Only a short trip,
but that was fine,
always lucky to be on holiday,
as they grinned again.

This image shows a scene from a railway station. The platform on the photographer’s side is empty, and you can see a train on the opposite side, leaving, engulfed in smoke/fog.
Written in response to Sadje‘s What Do You See #321 photo prompt.

They seem to be a couple of adventurous boys. I hope they have fun as they ride the train. Thanks Chris for joining in.

Anything about trains makes me happy, and those two boys as well! Such a good photo, Sadje. 😊

It’s been a long time since I traveled on a train but I loved doing so.

I’m exactly the same. I haven’t been on a train for years!

We used to go downtown in Seattle on their metro train. Before that when my kids were small.

I love the way you find fun and excitement in such a moody photo 🌹

I know that photo is moody and it didn’t really fit, but I couldn’t help myself to write about those two boys again, and having them on holiday. Oops is all I can say!

Yes indeed. Several names and several continents – one at the north, one at the south and the other one is both north and south! Great trains.
