young dragon
was living in a deep forest
he pottered around there
and life was so good
but a problem
then reared up
poor dragon
he hadn’t expected that
such a great tragedy
it was cold and wet
freezing, but what
could he do?
young dragon
fled and flew into a cave
it was dry and warm too
and he mostly dozed
but then he sniffed
is it spring?
dear dragon
then flew down, back to that forest
he skipped and jumped too
his dragon wings
were beautiful
life was good!

It was quite a fun one, I thought. And, of course, it’s the wonderful Chinese year – wow – the Fire Dragon… and the second time I have been there, being old!

Oh. – I was around then too. Early twenties then, now I’m in my late 60’s!
Because the Chinese zodiac combines 12 animals with 5 elemental signs, a specific combination like the Fire Dragon only occurs once every 60 years. The next Year of the Fire Dragon will not come around again until 2036. (That can’t be right that’s only ten years away… unless that’s just another dragon – Fire Dragon 60 years plus 26 would be 2086! Pretty sure I’ll make 2036, 2086 I’d be about 129!
