Paris Photographer – Louis Paulin

“Well, at least I can chortle again now,” grinned the red-headed woman, as she also linked arms with Joan, while winking to Scatty, as they continued to walk through the catacombs.
Meanwhile, Francis and The Old One had been having a long and interesting conversation, but it was mostly Francis talking since he was very knowledgeable especially about ancient written things, he was waxing lyrically and said, “you know, the National Archives in the heart of Paris, in fact, almost up there,” as he pointed one hand up, “it’s the largest in the world, I’m sure,” as the two of them continued to talk.
“Fascinating, indeed,” said The Old One, although he felt he should try to move on to less grave things, especially since so many skulls and what not were just down there, and making him rather sick, even though as he thought to himself, I might be a vampire, but at least my head had not been removed, as he was about to grin too much, while glancing to the two gargoyles.
“Curse it, curse it, I can’t get a signal here,” as he poked his smartphone crossly, “gosh, but I mean maybe I’ve run out of data, you must help me… now!”
“My goodness, we’re starting to argue more than usual, we do like a bit of banter, being gargoyles, but this is too much just now, I wonder what it is?”
“Well, we’re certainly happier in the light, and preferably up by a fabulous cathedral!”

Well, those two gargoyles are very real (yes, they said), but dragons are real? Maybe, maybe not! 🤣🤣

I can see how a gargoyle would prefer a fabulous cathedral to a catacomb.

The difficulty getting a cellphone signal in catacombs was not on my 2026 bingo card. 🙂

A bingo card? What? Can we use that, wondered those two gargoyles? Hmm. 🤣🤣

Do you suppose that the gargoyle is trying to ring up his cousin in New York? 😂 And of gosh, I’d love to know what Francis and The Old One are talking about.

Those two gargoyles are always using there phones, but now there’s a problem… oops. However, don’t bother listening to those vampires there… no, really!

That is a nice little story. The catacombs in Paris are certainly large. Lots of tunnels. I wonder if the picture of the building in your posts is a hotel. All the windows have the same kind of flowers.

Those catacombs are amazing, even though I am mostly making things up, as you know. The building could be an hotel, although I think it’s several apartments. I maybe wrong though.
LikeLiked by 1 person
Maybe but my guess is that it is a hotel, because it is all the same kind of flowers. How do you coordinate that between lots of neighbors? I don’t know though.

It could be the concierge who looks after various things in the residential apartment building. The only reason is I use the photo where the red-headed woman stays there at the very top apartment. All made up, of course!

Yes you are right it could be that. It is a good part of your red headed woman stories.

What an interesting thought that those creatures do not like being down there. But it actually does make sense when you think of where the gargoyle statues mostly are.
Hmm. Hopefully they will stop arguing soon and have a better mood.

Well, those two gargoyles are pretty clever, so let’s hope they will leave the catacombs!
