TRACTION BEAM ZONING IN… LOCKING ON…. AND ENERGIZE!
– Thank you Mr. Attenborough, we really couldn’t have completed our collection without you.
– Ms Thunberg, it’s been a privilege to meet you. In my long career, I’ve had many fascinating experiences, but I never expected to meet someone from the future. I’m humbled that you singled me out.
– You were the obvious candidate. You’re certain we haven’t missed any of the 21st century earth species?
– You have a pair of every living species for your trans-space-time settlement.
– Excellent.
– You will be returning to us won’t you, Ms Thunberg?
– In the blink of an eye. Remember, I can be in two places at once.
– Ah yes, you explained: quantum superposition; only a theory in the 21st century.
– You will keep my little secret?
– Of course. Although perhaps I might be permitted to share it with Brian Cox?
Written in response to Sadje’s ‘What Do You See #6′ photo prompt.
This is fascinating. I think there should be more.
Thanks for joining in the Prompt.

Brilliant! I’m picturing the pair of them at a dinner party having a natter about quantum physics and the ice caps.

Now that’s thought provoking! I can’t lie, though, I did have to look up Brian Cox to see who he was😋

A little bit of positive thinking, however fantastical 🙂

I’ve been watching reruns of a sci fi series… I think Greta’s Ark could be a series too.
I wonder though who Brian Cox is that he might share such a secret 😉
Ah…Brian Edward Cox OBE, FRS is an English physicist who serves as professor of particle physics in the School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Manchester. Could he be our mystery man.
Then of course the sharing makes a bit more sense.

Well Jules, there’s a very good chance that Greta and David might turn up somewhere else. Now Professor Cox’s fame is spreading, I think he might have a cameo too. He’s really worth watching 🙂 https://tardis.fandom.com/wiki/The_Science_of_Doctor_Who_(2013_documentary)?file=The_Science_of_Doctor_Who_2013_titlecard.jpg

I have seen some of the Dr. Who… The older ones remind me of the first Star Trek with Kirk. And a bit of ‘Lost in Space’ too 🙂

We just watched an episode where the hologram Doc was featured. Not to spoil a perfectly good show but if a hologram isn’t solid and can have phaser pass through him, how can he old tools to help his patients…

That’s a good question. There seems to be something faulty in the logic. Suspend belief? But only so far!

It’s sci-fi and we like the characters who over the years have become a family of their own – so you suspend belief…. because you know it is only a TV show or a movie… But one needs to know realities limits in order to play with them. 🙂
