When you reach this final bridge
pause a while
Take your time to cross.
From here there is
no way back.
So make your peace and
take the ultimate step.
The Unknown awaits.
Tread softly and walk on
with hope in your heart.
Might the best be
yet to come?

Is the best yet to come? We won’t know unless we go forward. Nice food for thought for the start of a new week and month Chris.

I for one welcome the idea of a change in venue. After all, I didn’t exactly ask to come here did I? Excellent food for thought piece.

Indeed. We can only play the cards we were dealt. Who knows what’s in store next?

Thanks Susan 🙂 Did you get the reference in the penultimate stanza? (I know you’re over the border, but…)

Just reread it. Yeah, it’s a lovely nod to those still affected.

Such are my roots… and the title of one of my books (although that’s entirely different).

Wow, this could mean so many different things…So many changes people go through, each one of them could be that bridge.

You are so welcome. I was looking for your About Me page but, being blind, I could not find it, but will later
