Today I’m still waiting by the track
choices limited, just forward or back
when at dawn, new light ascends
empty platform, empty track, possibilities

Choices limited, just forward or back
step on, step up, step up to the plate
empty platform, empty track, possibilities
which route shall I take?

Step on, step up, step up to the plate
hurry now, it’s not too late
which route shall I take?
inertia stays my feet

  1. Decisions are difficult sometimes when there are more choices. I love the way your thoughts roll around and come back to the original thought. Thanks a lot for being the first one Chris.

  5. Oh man, this is definitely me at times. Taking a path feels so definitive, like the path you do NOT choose will crumble away and never be available to you again. But to not take a path at all means a life of nothing.
    Yet another triumph, Chris! xxxxxx
