Almost Famous

For the visually challenged reader, this image shows a man holding a white face mask which is hiding half of his face. Only his light brown eyes and forehead are visible.

    • Oh, that was so interesting. Funny what you did, but also what you expressed about you article. The gender is far more difficult – and often very sad, but The Danish Girl movie looks excellent though. I’ll read the rest later.

      Thanks so much, Aladin 💛🌻😊

  1. I’m reminded of reading about silent movie stars who didn’t make the transition to talkies because their voices were too high (men) or grated on the ear (women). What strikes me most about the prompt photo is that the model bites his fingernails.

  2. I really like how you’ve written from this prompt, Chris. I take from your poem, which flows beautifully, that whoever and whatever he is, it’s fine. The best view of the world. (Except if he’s an axe murderer, of course! 😄)

  3. Too many are not very tolerant at all. We just had a boo-far with a program (in the city) that had to be canceled (from out of state threats actually) regarding a Drag Queen wanting to do story time at the local library.

When will people learn that they don’t have to participate, but allow others that will enjoy such?

  4. Love this! It’s got a playful vibe but makes you think too. That mix of drama and mystery in the poem matches perfectly with the picture. Really cool how it leaves you guessing.
