What am I going to do today?
Perhaps I could make a list
I drift around the house
And I ponder.
There’s so many things in my brain
What should I choose first?
I’m busy on my laptop
And I’m busy on my phone
And then I walk around the garden
Hoping something will come out in my speech.

For the visually challenged reader, this image shows an open book lying on a flat surface, its pages ruffled as by wind. Behind we see a luminous blue globe, and some fuzzy fairy lights, and in the distance a cloudy sky can be seen.
Written in response to Sadje‘s What Do You See #240 photo prompt.
The garden, Chris. Out doors… calm, away from “distractions”.
Nature has a way of inspiring and parsing the “unnecessary” from our minds.

I like that garden stroll… Might be under shelter though as it looks like a little storm is brewing. 🙂

You might be right, although the autumn here is wonderful at the moment!🍂

Autumn is my favorite season… perhaps because I was born in autumn? Well my seasonal autumn anyway 🙂
Everyday something new – we just have to look and be aware💕

What a thoughtful peace, I say take a book and read in the garden, nothing nicer so long as it doesn’t rain!

Exactly! In my old house I could sit in the greenhouse and in there!

The garden as long as it’s not Yorkshire, it’s chucking it down….

Yes, sorry about that, Gary. It’s pretty wet, even in the summer, but Yorkshire is better than Liverpool though – wet, wet, wet!

Great poem! I love being in my garden too, as long as I don’t forget to water it! 😂

Gosh, you’re right about the watering in the garden. It is very dry for autumn this year, usually it’s getting lots of rain by now, although it seems it will be raining for a couple of days from tomorrow, so that’s alright! 💦

always looking for breaking news in the garden: a new bud here, a bug here, and what the birds brought over. May your garden do the same for you Chris. Blessings.
