What’s happened to that pond? It was fine last time I looked.
Who broke the edges? And who messed with the middle?
There’s still a little fountain, and it’s still working, although it’s a bit wonky.
It looks like ice, but it can’t be, since it’s spring. Proper spring now. Most odd.
I shall have to sit on my haunches and squat down. Then I can peer and look more closely too. Ah, that’s much better.
There have never been fish there, but something is moving.
Lots of them in fact.
Tadpoles, my children!
‘Ribbit, ribbit, it’s me, ribbit, ribbit!’

The problem is that you have numerous followers from that “other side,” and it’s winter there! 🤣🤣💕✌😘

I know… it can be hard sometimes! I just had a look at the temperature outside now: 29C / 84F. It’s 11 o’clock…

Brilliant isn’t it! My actual big pond has many frogs there now. Tiny ones and a couple of huge ones.

The pond here would be an ice block currently. But that’s going to be wonderful.

A good project I would say.
P.S. I said on your side (spam again) – Indeed, I agree totally. Fab photo though.

That’s an intriguing image. The mess must serve some kind of useful purpose? When I was a kid, I thought tadpoles were fascinating little creatures with their wiggly tails.

Our tadpoles are all frogs now, not many though. I had been looking at the big pond just now, there’s lots of plants in it, but otherwise I was looking at some pond-skaters and above there a few dragonflies. Love watching things outside.

People caused the pond distress, but mother nature and the tadpoles will bring it back to life. Spring is in the air!

Lots of little creatures in a pond or near one. Fun to watch things like that, at least I think so.
