‘Look, a huge keyhole over there.’
‘Let’s get closer,’ as the two boys hurried across.
‘It’s an interesting opening.’
‘Ouch.’
‘It’s… it’s, what?’
‘Perspex, perhaps?’
Gingerly, both of them touched the see-through wall.
‘Weird.’
‘Intriguing though.’
One of the boys tried to press his face to see further. The other one saw an interesting plaque.
‘Look, it’s a dragon up there.’
‘Can we touch it?’
‘Ooh, sweet, isn’t it!’
‘But it’s not helping, sadly.’
‘Oh well, it’s teatime now, but we’ll be back.’
The two boys had gone, so the tiny dragon burst out and grinned:
‘Hasta la vista, baby!’

Hi Chris – still probs with spam I’m sure. I did enjoy your last two posts about that Ferryman. This is what I said: Strange but most interesting, Chris. It almost feels like part of Dante’s Inferno.

Ooh, I’m liking your (most flattering) comparison, Chris. Thank you. So glad you liked this.

Fire: Bang!? 😂It reminds me of Stargate, in a way. However, it is truly intriguing. 😉💖

Luckly a thought just popped into my head as I finish the last couple of lines!
However, I was rather annoyed since I tried to post back to you last week about your story – spam again I am sure. This is what I said: That’s a good story, Matthew. Feels a bit like a nuke attack in the future… a thought for a kid. Or maybe, a real thought. Remember ‘Threads’? It’s a bit too close… again.

and another one too –
How lovely… both of them. How very pleasant!
And yes, winter this side…it has been a bit brutal over the last week, although lovely and sunny just now again.
