Okay, time to get rid of all this stuff, as she smiled to herself. All this waste of nonsense, it’s got to go, and soon, very soon.
She began to move things around. Aha, there’s a big box here, and another big box there, plus many, many cartons. There are even in those darkest areas, there are some old tea chests. She’s determined not to open any of those.
Really?
Yep, she’s focused.
Should she have a little poke inside?
No. Don’t even think about that. No… and no.
Hmm.
Shall she do this for another day?
Yep, that’s fine.

My wife is an “anti-packrat” and wants to get rid of anything that isn’t immediately being used. I kind of like to savor memories before I give them up.

Aha, someone has to do that! I kind of say… well done your missus.

personally, if I have a box, I haven’t been inside of for over a year- it goes out without me inspecting the contents as I will surely want to resave something I have no use for!

It is kind of odd here (anyway) that folks will leave good things at the curbsides for others to just take. I guess they just don’t have the time to actually take stuff to the charity shops. But a couch that sits out for days and even gets rained on – who is going to want that!
