Oak leaves showing us a full range of colours – Crispina Kemp
~~~
a beautiful sight
all those wonderful colours
there’s russet and red
bumblebee golden, chartreuse
and plus magnificent mauve
such a good season
it rings it’s changes so well
what else will it say?
young leaves are gorgeous, and that
oak will be extraordinary
~~~
Robbie is our host this week at #TankaTuesday, and she asks us to write about trees.

Hail the colors and Summer dreams!

And here’s your second part:
What an interesting piece, Chris. I thought about this, especially the second part. It seemed that those words in that story became rather strange, and even more those particular words were not useful in the same way again – if that makes any sense? Still, a good story, certainly!

Glad that you enjoyed that, Eugi! I have to admit, I used the wonderful ‘The Writer’s Lexicon – part 3’ by Kathy Steinemann. Colours are always useful in that one!
