I haven’t climbed this one
it looks doable
shall I try it?

easy to start with
going well
but now it’s getting harder
but that’s the point

slowly does it
and cling on
whoa, that was scary

I’m almost there
and yes… that vista!

Just a few flowers

just a few flowers
on the edge of the landscape
it’s so grey
there’s no mauve, jasmine or pearl
so smoggy in that city

but close by, the colours are vibrant
there’s dahlias and daisies
so vivid

but it’s blurring now
such a shame

What can I do?
Well, I can turn up my jeans

her name is Selene
and she’s captivating
she can be huge, and brilliant
or far, far away
but she’s always mine
but now she’s red, blood red
is she angry?

Those Dolls

I never had a Barbie and certainly not a Ken.
I never liked dolls in anyway at all.
I even found them a little scary in fact.

But now I’m thinking that Barbie and Ken
might be quite useful,
in some way or another?

you’d see him walking around
doing a handstand if he wanted to
but mostly he would sit in the middle
watching the bridge

known as sakura

flowers are dainty
while trees are magnificent
both together is hope

but meanwhile something else is happening:

cherries are blushing
bountiful and delicious
how many can we eat?

these are so sweet
more than delightful!

and beautiful,
regal too.

Staring out
on the gate,
what’s he thinking?

He’s hardly moving,
what’s going on
in his mind? (anything?)

I’m getting closer,
can I pet him??
ah – he’s purring!

That’s enough though.
He climbs down,
walking with purpose.
