It’s such a nice apartment, and she had been there for ages. She had been a worker for many years, but now she’s retired. Fun, relaxing and happiness.
She has a few friends, but not close, and that’s fine.
She doesn’t mind cooking, but nothing fancy. It takes too long otherwise.
She has her little table and her laptop, and she does bits and pieces.
However, her passion is books. Wonderful books. She continues to buy.
The only thing she worries about is this.
She’ll never be able to read all of those ones before she’s dead.
Sad but true.

My library card is my friend. My wife doesn’t like me hoarding anything including books, so I don’t buy that many and when I do, I try for digital because they don’t take up space. Still, there’s nothing like the smell of an older book and the feel of its pages between my fingers.
